Introdução / Visão Geral

All ASCENT partners are globally seen very strong and important markets of the automotive industry. Their participation and development in this sector does therefore influence regional economic stability.

As of 2016, a potential lack of engineers focusing on automotive engineering as well as few cooperation between universities and businesses was detected and is addressed in the frame of ASCENT. The ASCENT project aims to improve the current situation at the participating higher education institutions in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico and its regional industries that are connected.

Through capacity building trainings, local academic staff, students and companies will receive upgraded knowledge on automotive engineering and sales management for engineers to reach the following aims:

ASCENT capacity building trainings

Building up know-how within the six HEIs in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico on automotive engineering, sales management strategies and soft skills for engineers during 4 trainings in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico to improve capacities for more initiatives on the topics.

Rede ASCENT e plataforma de transferência de conhecimento

Establishing a network which aims for international exchange on the topics of automotive engineering, sales management strategies and soft skills for engineers among all target groups of the project. Attached to the network also a knowledge transfer platform will be established aiming at sharing knowledge among the members of the network on the project´s core topics and to spread the existence of the competence centres as expertise hubs.

ASCENT acumula capacidade on automotive engineering sales management strategies and soft skills for engineers at higher education institutions in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico through international expert training to create awareness and spread the idea of these topics on academic but also industry level to ensure future growth of university-business cooperation.

ASCENT implementa seis centros de competência com foco em engenharia automotiva, estratégias de gerenciamento de vendas e habilidades sociais para engenheiros em instituições de ensino superior parceiras para estabelecer um centro de conhecimento para os tópicos principais.

network

ASCENT constrói uma rede e uma plataforma de troca de conhecimento para intercâmbio internacional em engenharia automotiva e gestão de vendas para engenheiros.

Principais grupos-alvo do Projeto ASCENT

Os principais grupos-alvo dentro do projeto ASCENT são os seguintes:

• Líderes de HEIs e gerentes das áreas de engenharia automotiva e gestão de vendas para engenheiros
• Equipe acadêmica com foco em engenharia automotiva e gestão de vendas para engenheiros
• Estudantes e associações de estudantes que estudam programas de graduação automotiva ou mecânica com o objetivo de melhorar a indústria automotiva nos países participantes
• Empresas que atuam na indústria automotiva
• Associações automotivas e parceiros políticos
