1st ASCENT Conference

The 1st ASCENT Conference took place in Sao Paulo and inaugurated the ASCENT Network and welcomed different key note speakers off- and online!

In March the ASCENT consortium met at our partner Institution in Sao Paulo (USP) for a 3-day management meeting.

Our Brazilian partner Institution "Universidade de Sao Paulo" received the first equipment for the ASCENT Competence Centre.

HSD in Düsseldorf was hosting this managment meeting in December 2019. The planning of the 1st ASCENT Conference and Student Placements were central.

Dewetron from Austria manufactured the equipment for our partner university in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

This internal workshop took place on 4th of December 2019 and focused on the impacts and changes in the engineering sector through Industry 4.0.
