	Our Focus and Expertise Ibero´s Mechanical Engineering area has a particular strength in mechanical design, which relates directly to the services offered through our Competence Centre CEPRA. There is a strong nucleus of professors, lecturers, and technicians with many years of expertise in design, prototyping and testing, including some that have experience running successful businesses that offer different kinds of technical and manufacturing services to companies of the automotive industry. All this expertise is now available for industrial customers, with focus in the automotive industry, but relevant also for any other industrial areas that perform engineering, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing of mechanical parts and systems.  List of Services Individual On-Demand Services: Virtual reconstruction of physical pieces of machines from photographs Printing of 3D models or components (with SLS technology and other available options) Manufacturing of functional copies or replacements of machine parts and components  (with SLS technology and other available options) Integrated Services Automotive Projects: Originate on a specific technical need or requirement of a client, which require the design or redesign of mechanical parts or systems, the development of prototypes, and carrying out different kinds of tests on them in order to ensure that they meet their purpose. Training Services CAD-CAE-CAM Software: Update knowledge and skills on current software for mechanical design, engineering and manufacturing. Soft Skills for Engineers: Update technical communication and sales management skills. The interaction between industry and academia usually allows seeing things out of the box, gaining new perspectives, and promoting creative thinking and innovation.
