The Competence Centre is run by the Mechanical Engineering Program and hosted within the "Laboratórios" of the faculty, thus allowing easy access and interaction with personnel, equipment, and resources. The Centre is located in the "University-City" at Ilha do Fundao no Rio de Janeiro.
